About us
We are a new church that launched in September 2022, located on Filton Airfield and led by Andy and Katy Carter. We are a Church of England church planted by St Nicholas Bristol with Holy Trinity Brompton. Our vision is to play our part in the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the Church and the transformation of society.
Our story so far
Concord Church is at the heart of a brand new development on Filton Airfield, the home of the Concorde Aircraft. We’re inspired by the aircraft and the heritage of innovation and pioneering in Filton and we love the meaning of the word Concord.
There's an old Anglican prayer that describes God as the Author of Peace and Lover of Concord. Concord means agreement, unity and harmony. We believe God is calling us to serve and show his love to this brand new community and the surrounding area.
